Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked

or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,

but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,

and who meditates on his law day and night.

Why Psalm Singing?

The Psalms are the prayer book of the Bible. They contain every human emotion — joy, lament, anger, hope, doubt, praise. When the church sings Psalms, it learns to pray honestly. When we sing them together, we learn we are not alone in our struggles. The Psalter has formed the worship of the church for 3,000 years.
